  1. Without commenting further on your article in Salon, and your comment that that article was not about civility (my word), but about demonization, I find that we read and hear what we want to read and hear, rather than what the author intended.

    As a lowly trial lawyer, who relies daily on other’s interpretation of his language, I also find this to be true. You, as an author, must also fight daily with that problem.

    I could say more but I believe in econo y of language.
